We in the heart of Wusterhausen
The Novel Hotel is centrally located at the market in Wusterhausen and is just a few minutes' walk from the train station (connection to the regional express in Neustadt/Dosse). The nearest airport is Berlin BER, 122 km away, and can be reached directly by regional express. Many bike tours (including the tour "historic town centers in Brandenburg") as well as the pilgrim route Berlin - Bad Wilsnack pass directly through Wusterhausen.
The Klempowsee, about 1 km away, offers many idyllic spots to relax or take a walk – at the beach, young and old can be convinced of the excellent water quality. A good overview can be gained on a steamboat trip with the passenger shipping company, and on the occasion, a detour to the "Insl" can be made. The island can also be reached by land – via Kyritz an der Knatter, about 8 km away – with a small ferry.
Heinrichsfelde with the locally based flight school is only 3 km away. Kampehl with the knight Kahlbutz can be reached in just 5 minutes by car.
The horse town Neustadt/Dosse attracts many visitors every year and is 5 km away from the Novel Hotel.
The central location on the market in Wusterhausen offers a cinema, museum, hairdressers, a bus stop, and shopping opportunities in the immediate vicinity. The weekly market takes place twice a week.
The beginnings
From the beginning until today – with heart, work, and a clear goal.
The Novel Hotel is not an off-the-shelf project. It is the result of courage, a lot of work, and the decision to build something of our own.
In 2017, we took over the house from an auction.
At this point, hardly anything was still usable – much had to be renewed from scratch.
We consciously chose to take this path.
Step by step, with a lot of effort and an eye for what this house could one day become.
First, the seven existing rooms were completely renovated and made usable again. Over time, this created a place that is not only functional but also provides an atmosphere in which one enjoys staying.
More than a hotel
Another major milestone followed in 2023:
Through another extensive renovation, we were able to complete nine additional rooms from the old hall.
Today, the Novel Hotel has a total of 16 modernly equipped rooms.
One thing was always particularly important to us: comfort that goes beyond the usual. Our rooms are high-quality furnished – among other things with Smart TV, air conditioning, coffee machines, and everything that makes for a pleasant stay.
As a German-Turkish family, this house contains not only work but also a large part of our lives.
Many decisions were made directly, we implemented much ourselves – and much has grown over the years.
We value honest interactions, a personal atmosphere, and that our guests feel welcome – not just as visitors, but as people.
There is no standstill with us
The Novel Hotel is constantly evolving. It is being renovated, improved, and expanded – always with the goal of increasing quality and comfort for the stay of our guests.
An example of this is our courtyard, which is a particularly quiet place to linger, especially in the summer months.
We are also currently working on the completion of our parking lot to make the stay even more comfortable for our guests.
And that's exactly how it continues
Step by step, with ideas, with commitment – and with the aim of getting the best out of this house.
Our story is far from over
What began in 2017 with a lot of work is today a grown hotel with character.
And we look forward to continuing this path – together with our guests.
